Yes, we are playing this wonderful fest. We will be touring to and from it with an all-star lineup of jobless scabs; inquire within to book us. We're also playing MacRock. We might post info about that, but don't count on it.

In other news, our new 7" is basically sold out, we only have about five copies of our LP, and the Soul Power 7" has been sold out for a long time, so scoop 'em used or illegally download them.

Also, we played a show in Canada with Lukas Marshall on vocals. He worked very hard to learn our songs, Canadians were confused by his northern Maryland accent. Ian Marshall sang some of the songs while playing his bass guitar, no one played flute.

Here's info on the Chaos In Tejas show we're playing:

5/29: Saturday at Red 7 ($12) (all ages) (buy tickets)

Leatherface 12:10-12:55
Dead to Me 11:15-11:55
Lion Of Judah 10:30-11:00
Ninja Gun 9:45-10:15
Shanghai River 9:00-9:30

We've been busy doing lots of things since the last update. So many things, we don't even remember what they are. We got in trouble with the law, then got un-in trouble with the law, and now we're thinking about thinking about writing new music.

Thanks for reading, we're probably playing Philadelphia, PA in March, but we'll probably forget to update you about that, so KYEO.

New 7" Pre Sale Tonight!

Pre-orders for our new 7" are up at 8:00 pm EST on the Youngblood Records website, http://www.youngblood-records.com, check it out if you'd like to hear new music from us.

We have some shows scheduled for October:

Oct. 3 at St. Stephens Church in Washington, D.C. with Trapped Under Ice, Title Fight, and Mindset

Oct. 9 at The Glass Door in Brooklyn, NY with GIVE, Cipher, and Casting Curses

Oct. 10 at The Champion Ship in Lemoyne, PA with Iron Age, Mind Eraser, GIVE, Peace, Mob Mentality, Mindset, etc.

We'd love to play somewhere else in the north eastern United States on Oct. 11, as GIVE will be touring Europe in late October/ early November and we will not be able to play shows.

In November we will travel south with Coke Bust and GIVE to make up for some of the shows we missed due to our transportation meltdown.

We still have some leftover merch in the store at http://www.meowmeowloj.com but it is going fast, so get your order in or you'll miss out.

Thanks to everyone who helped us out on tour. Thanks to all who purchased our record.
Luv,
L.O.J.

Another update, this one isn't so great, we had to come home from tour early due to some van issues. As a result, the rest of our tour dates are canceled. We're working on makeup dates for some of the cities as we speak. Thanks to everyone who helped us out.

We've got the remaining tour merch up for sale in our webstore at http://www.meowmeowloj.com
Act fast, many of these designs are available in VERY LIMITED quantities.

Also, our 7" does exist, in the real world, believe it or not. Preorders should be up at Youngblood HQ any day. We have some left over tour pressings that we'll be selling at upcoming shows.

Speaking of, we are booking some shows for the fall. Get in touch if you can help us in the north east United states. Details for those shows will be added shortly. So far we've got NYC and a big blowout at St. Stephens in Washington, DC- the first LOJ gig I can walk to.

Thanks for reading!

WE WILL HAVE A NEW 7", WE WILL HAVE PRINTED T SHIRTS FOR YOU TO WEAR, WE WILL HAVE A CAST OF FREAKS JOINING US ON OUR STIGGYBILT LOFT.

Shows, Record, Mailorder.

Hello, it has been quite some time. We've all been very busy since our Euro tour, and we've actually done some behind the scenes things we've been meaning to do. First and foremost, we've actually completed the three song 7" we've been talking about completing for the past three years. We've also been working on coordinating a Central American tour. Which is something we were planning on doing as tourists anyway. Last, and least important, we've gotten all of our remaining MERCHANDISE into one place and have reordered some of the designs that we sold out of. This means that all outstanding merch orders(and there's quite a few) will ship before we head out for tour. After that, we will restock the store with new and exciting things and get rid of some of the older stuff that we're sick of looking at.

We're also playing a show next Friday, December 19th at the C.C. Art Space in Baltimore, MD. This show is a benefit, and as much as we hate the dank smell of that place, we can't deny its importance to everyone who plays music in this area. There will be an update with dates for Central America after I yell at Brian and get his permission to host the tour-flyer-thingamajig our friends down there made.

Oh yeah, Stiggy's back.

Store Orders, etc.

Hey,
We're back from Europe, there's been some hold ups on items ordered from our store over the summer, but we'll have all of them out in the next couple weeks. We're working out the new 7" as we speak. Stay posted for more updates and shows.

Tuesday, June 17, 2008

We're leaving this week for a Euro tour with Trapped Under Ice and Dirty Money. Check us out in the land(s) of powerful currency, fine food, and ancient castles.

We'll be bringing some new designs, some old designs, some short sleeves and some long sleeves. We'll be playing new songs, old songs, and other people's songs. Most of all we'll be feasting on squat gruel every evening and loving every minute of it. See you soon our European friends.

PS: meowmeowloj.com will not be shipping during this time. We will have bunches and bunches of new stuffs when we return, then, in the fall, we'll have a new record in that store and hopefully some more animated gifs.

Gene has much to say, read on and enjoy.

Since our last update much has happened. Plans have changed, re-changed, and then changed once again when we thought the a changin' was a done.

First, what we're gonna be doing:

- We are playing a bunch of shows on the east coast in the coming months. We are playing with lots of great bands like: Cloak/Dagger, Pulling Teeth, Police & Thieves, War Hungry and a bunch more.

-We are all living in the same country for the first time in over a year(within 30 miles of each other!). We've been split between three countries and two continents for a while so this is a refreshing change of pace(... but the honeymoon might be over pretty soon!!!). Which means we'll be playing more local shows and we'll be writing more new songs. We'll also be enjoying recreational activities such as visiting amusement parks, swimming holes, haunted houses, and ice creameries. You can join us if you'd like.

- We have some new t shirt designs. We are in the process of getting a webstore thing-a-ma-jig together so ordering is easier. We finally have a new shipment in of some old designs as well so we'll be catching up on the lingering mail orders.

- In winter we will be going down to Florida for TIFY fest. Billy is one of the greatest guys alive. He's always helped us out and if you fuck with him he'll run you over with a lawnmower. Join us in the parking lot so we can play frisbee. Then come inside and jump up and down and pass each other around when the bands play.

Second what we've done did:

- We successfully made it back to Canada without incident for Break North fest, a show at End Hits in Ottawa, and another one at Adrift Skate Park/Shop in Toronto. We also successfully ate lots of poutine and assorted night-foods such as lo mein with peanut butter and .99 pizza.

These shows were all great and we hope to cross the border more frequently now that the "hate-Canada" period of L.O.J. is over.

- We visited the south once again for some gigs in Florida, Georgia, and Tennessee. 108, Killing Time, and Uppercut were all really good, it was fun to get to play with them again. We picked up some homeless hippies and went swimming in the Gulf of Mexico with them and their two ferrets. We gathered the following important facts from our exchanges with these people and their pets: firstly, "Ferrets are spiritual animals," second, it is apparent that ferrets enjoy dancing to music at outdoor festivals such as the Bonaroo festival that is held yearly on a large farm in rural Tennessee.

The end of this eventful trip saw us play three shows in one 24 hour stretch, starting at 3:30 AM in Gainesville, FL. We then played Chatanooga, TN and Nashville, TN. A synopsis: Waffle House, Drowning Pool, transsexual prostitutes, double-decker bikes, coke can bowls, tasers, wolverine claws, sno-balls, stuffed animal crowd participation, lost keys.

- We flew out to California for the Sound and Fury music festival in Ventura, California. We played lots of shows up and down the coast, ate lots of burritos, went to many thrift stores, and enjoyed being transported in the infamous Lights Out van. Hanging out in Tijuana and being greeted by our old friends Zippy and Rene and our new pals Mito and Veronica (who flew all the way from Monterrey) was a special treat.

- Finally, we apparently broke up on eBay for a while, but we didn't know it. We had our unofficial last show in the Lonfellow House in Washington, DC with no one in attendance. Our reunion show at the Black Cat last night was pretty cool, it brought back so many distant not-so-distant memories. RaZZ Money of Wilkes-Barre, PA graced us with his presence for a special guest appearance in the crowd. "Robusk" A. Norton photographed it for a centerfold in Hit Parader.

What we didn't do:

- We did not tour Europe with 108. We love them and wish we could have joined them but logistically it wasn't meant to be.

- We have not finished our 3 song 7" but we p-p-promise we will, real soon. I swear.

- We didn't do our tour with Cloak/Dagger because it didn't really get booked. They do rule, and we are playing some shows with them, so check out their new record.

Thursday, January 18, 2007

Greetings earthlings! Lots of updates since our return from our three-month-long fall trek. We've been busy playing shows up and down the east coast, trying to cover any ground we missed before. This weekend we are wrapping up this effort by finally returning to NYC and MA after way too long. At our show in Richmond, VA on Monday we were completely cleaned out of colored vinyl LPs and our post-tour t shirt reprints, if you can find colored vinyl anywhere(Celebrated Summer Records in Towson, MD hint, hint) snatch it up, because ALL clear vinyl and purple/gold/clear mash up are unavailable from us, Youngblood, or Rev.

Now on to the future: in March we will be doing a U.S. tour, mostly with our favorite Belgian diamond smugglers in Justice. The tour will hit the south, the southwest, and the west coast, finally ending at Youngblood Fest on March 31 in Lemoyne, PA. The summer will bring even more extensive touring. We are planning on doing an insanity inducing world tour with Lights Out, (hopefully) War Hungry, and whatever stragglers we pick up along the way. This larger tour will hit North America, Europe, and maybe Asia. We also have some new music in the wings that will be released on some format in the next six months. Check back here for more updates, show listings, stupid t shirts. We will try to be good little boys about keeping you informed. Universal Peace in '07- LOJ.

Friday, December 8, 2006

All right. Tour was awesome. Thanks to everyone that came out and nu-metal danced. We appreciate it. Now for all of those who wanted some merch but found we had none, you are in luck. Check the Gear page for some new designs.

Tuesday, November 21, 2006

Tour is winding down. A little sad. We're starting to run low on all the merch: cds and records so we apologize in advance to anyone who misses out. All the shows have been great so far. We look forward to finishing this tour in style. Thanks again to all of the people who have went out of their way to help us.

Friday, October 27, 2006

More updates to the tour. Check it.

Saturday, October 14, 2006

Lion of Judah will be touring throughout the month of November in celebration of the release of the Universal Peace LP on Youngblood Records(out October 31st). Please get in touch with contacts/suggestions for dates with ¨NEED HELP¨ listed next to them. You can contact us at lojwdc@yahoo.com with any questions or assistance. Also, if you have booked a show for us and the complete information is not listed on the show page, please send it to us a.s.a.p. See you on the road.

Monday, June 26, 2006

Dumb if you don't check out the media page and listen to the new MP3. It's a new track of the upcoming Youngblood LP release. Look for it in the next couple of months. PEACE!

Monday, June 19, 2006

Just a quick note: As of June 18, 2006, L.O.J. has not successfully made contact with ghosts, or entered through the gates of Hellam, PA. We have, however, finished tracking the majority of our LP and begun the booking of our extensive EU Indian Summer jamdown. The dates are looking to run from September 8 to October 22. We have been promised Greece and Finland, and we will be very upset with Mr. Wim of Antwerpen if we don't get an extension into the central asian republics.

After much hand-wringing, soul-searching, and exhumation of childhood scribblings, we have received cover art that we are satisfied with. The album will be released in the US on Youngblood Records and in the EU on 12-inch vinyl by our bestest pals at Powered Records. While you are at it, check out the new Fired Up! e.p. on Youngblood and the Loud and Clear and Justice records on Powered, you will not be disappointed.

Friday, May 26, 2006

It has been quite some time since we last updated the site and in that time we have had much to announce. First off, we will be recording our record throughout the month of June at Inner Ear Studios in Arlington, VA with Don Zientara. We have been locked away in our remote practice bunker working on new material and the embryonic form of our debut full-length is taking shape. We have thirteen or fourteen new songs and plan on releasing the best of them on 12. record and compact disc in the fall of this year. This album will be on Youngblood Records, and we will most likely have a European pressing of the vinyl so all of our new friends in the old world don.t have to pay exorbitant shipping prices. We will not be touring this summer, but we do plan to play some sporadic weekends throughout the next couple of months. In the fall we are planning on an extensive tour of Europe followed by a North American tour. We have a couple upcoming shows in our area with our friends in War Hungry, Iron Age, and Lights Out. We will post details on our .shows. page when we get all of the info together. We also have new shirts for sale, which will be posted on the site shortly. Thanks for reading; we.ll see you this fall on our inter-dimensional tour.

Thursday, January 19, 2006

We just got back from Europe. Thanks to everyone in EU who came out or helped us out. Peace. One love.

Monday, December 5, 2005

Winter Euro Tour dates added. Yo Germany, get ready to nu-metal dance.

Friday, December 2, 2005

Added a show. Get ready for some new material. Coming soon.

Thursday, July 7, 2005

The Soul Power 7" is out. Catch the last couple days of the summer tour and you can pick up the cd and a shirt. Hot. There is also a possibility of getting more 7"s on black vinyl. We'll keep you posted.

Tuesday, June 7, 2005

The new "Soul Power" 7" is at the pressing plant and we should have copies in time for the Lights Out record release show at Gilman St. We will also have copies of our demo for sale at all shows.
