The other day went so well, and sparked such great discussion that I whipped out some more flyers and stickers. Enjoy.

DHU does it the best!

3 Band Bills Are The Best

The Swarm, Buried Alive and Bane. 3 bands. A festival of mirth and mosh. What more do you need? Of course, The Swarm didn't make it. Reach The Sky played instead. Then Ian turned the show into a benefit for the Fallen Worcester Firefighters. Lots of raffling and stage diving for a good cause. 1999 was a good year.

The End Of An Era

National Edge Day

Words cannot describe how amazing this show was. Mosh.

Bane, The Sheist ... FULL BLEED!

When Chachi printed up these flyers, he made sure to let me know about Full Bleed. You'll notice no white borders. It's black to the edges. Yeap, full bleed. He was very proud. The show was very long. But dope. Of course, The Sheist didn't play this show. Ah Chachi. Best dude. 1998 stylee.

Before Fests, There were Shows with a Million Bands

Bane Stickers, A Little From Each Era

Enjoy the pics. Let me know if you any more requests for flyer or sticker pics. Peace.

Ten Yard Fight - Tour 98 Shirt ...
  -- Thursday, April 12, 2007

A weekend or two back, I helped my brother move out of his house. As a thank you, he was generous enough to give me a few items from his shirt collection. One item was a Sam Black Churck 2xl Longsleeve. No pics. I'll spare you. The other was a Ten Yard Fight - Summer Tour 1998 shirt. I had one, but this one was different.

First off, the shirt brand is different. The colors are obviously different too. Mine was the darker blue while Jason's was lighter blue.

Jason's shirt appeared different on the front too. The letters seemed larger, and the alien/football player seemed more crisp.

Finally, there is the back. Mine had THICK, bullet proof ink. And an extra white border around the graphic. Jason's was normal print. Not super thick, with no run off white boarder. In fact, it didn't have any white ink at all. One less screen.

If anyone has more info, please let me know. I'm curious why these two vastly different shirts were made for the same tour. Thanks. I'll be asking Clevo too.

Bane, The Geeks, Down To Nothing, Ambitions, ... @ The El N Gee 03/04/2007
  -- Tuesday, March 20, 2007

Way back on March 4th, after the Celtics game, I grabbed Bedard and we headed to New London, CT. The Geeks, Ambitions, Down To Nothing, Bane and a few other bands. Here's the crowd at various points through out the night. It was a little weird. It seemed real empty, but finally during Ambitions and Bane, it really filled in.

Super Arty

First up was Down To Nothing. Literally, someone else played before them, but I missed them. Down To Nothing rips. Dave is a pos man through and through.

Then The Geeks hit the stage. The Geeks ripped too. Ki was dropping knowledge on people, and the residents of CT were appreciative. For a dude who isn't a native English speaker, he still did a great job of saying insightful ideas. Some deep philosophical shit too. Ki was also front and center singing along to every band. He is probably the Korean Pat Flynn.

After The Geeks, another band played. They talked shit on Bane merch.

Here's the Bane Merch that was worthy of shit talk

No pics of that band. But they did smash a cake over someone's head and made a super slippery mess on stage. Here's Stevie working his super roady skills.

Next up was Ambitions. CT is lucky they have such an awesome band. And the new songs are starting to grow on me. THE ILLUSION!!!

Wrapping up the night was Bane. They set it off correctly, and the crowd was into it. Overall, great set. Good mix of old and new.
