![]() ![]() Labels: blog, Jordans, Nike, Sneakers Terror At The Palladium - 01/27/2007 -- Wednesday, February 14, 2007 I had the chance to hang with Pike and Larrabee. It involved attending a show at the Palladium. I did get some Nancy Chang's though. Here's the crowd. ![]() A very metal crowd. I recognized zero dudes. Minus Merrick of course. The first band I saw was All Shall Perish. They had a fun plan that involved everyone wearing the same outfit and supporting their boys, The Warriors. I'm not sure how the people in the front felt about it. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Then I saw Terror play. Here's something awesome you should know. ![]() You see the kid without his shirt on? At the beginning of the show, he was wearing a Terror shirt. Then during the next band, he was wearing a wife beater. And finally, during Terror, he was down to no shirt BUT he had TERROR written on his chest in magic marker. Well, he was also wearing fingerless gloves. And during every band, he kept trying to crowd surf. Yeap, crowd surf, not stage dive, CROWD SURF. I felt bad. Here are some pics of Terror doing their thing. I didn't feel bad for them. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Check those fingerless gloves in that last image. Ill. Terror was good. Hang sesh was dope. Nancy Chang sesh was great. Overall, I give that night an 7.5. Peace. Labels: blog, The Palladium, Worcester Dunk Stuffing: Day Three -- Tuesday, February 06, 2007 Last day, looking good. Hope Kevin is psyched. The final product. ![]() ![]() Labels: blog, Dunk, Hypebeast, Nike, Stuffing Trip to the Grocery Store: Warnings I went to the grocery store this morning to stock up on my daily breakfast supplies (plain oatmeal, unsalted teddy's peanut butter -- which I accompany with soy protein powder. Don't knock it. It's good) and some bars. I notice the discount rack has some gems. You know the rack. The one with the tin cans missing labels, dented boxes of cereal, stuff like that. Anyway, this rack held, Vitasoy Holly Nog. ![]() For $1, I figured, "why the hell not?" I'm already a big fan of Silk Nog. How different could they be? You guessed it. I opened the package and before I was out of the store parking lot, I was draining the container into a snow bank. Probably the worst drink product ever. I give it seventy five thumbs down. Also while I was in the store, I came across the Vitasoy Peppermint Chocolate beverage. ![]() After drinking the Holly Nog, I was already prepared for disappointment. I waited until I got to work this time. The first sip wasn't bad. The second sip was barely noticed. I realized, the first sip coated my mouth in an impenetrable layer of sugar. After a third sip, my $1.25 purchase went down the drain, literally. The only fan of this product must be the tooth fairy or the dentist. All I'm left with is a horrible taste in my mouth. Lame. Vitasoy - 2; Bmurphy - 0. I think I was pranked. Take my advice, heed my warnings: don't fall for these products. Dunk Stuffing: Day Two -- Thursday, February 01, 2007 Kevin, day two. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Dope. Labels: blog, Dunk, Hypebeast, Nike, Stuffing Jay-Z will help RELAUNCH (??) Cherry Coke Jay-z, Cherry Coke and relaunching. My only comment: When did Cherry Coke disappear? I drank one over the weekend. And enjoyed every last drop. As far as Cherry Coke goes, every time I drink one, I recall sneaking into the industrial building near our house to get soda. We would go as a group of kids, where the oldest kid, probably my older brother was 7 or 8. There were plenty of slugs around the machine and we would all get free sodas. I always went with cherry coke. Holy shit, our mom was pissed when she found out. ![]() The beverage of my youth. Labels: blog, coke, family, Hip-hop |
