Streetwear rips off Hardcore, Hardcore rips off ...

I'm sure you've seen the Misfit rip off shirts. Everyone is doing one. F'cking Awesome, Diamond Ltd, ... Everyone and their mom. That one doesn't seem like too far of a stretch (try to ignore most F'cking Awesome designs, as they rip off EVERY punk/hardcore band: judge, crass, integrity, ...). But this one just bugs the shit out of me:

Here's a new shirt from well known streetwear designers, Neighborhood:


Here's a shirt from the 80's hardcore band, Life Sentence:


I see a few similarities. Now, it's probably the case where the band ripped off some other image (obviously the logo is very Life Magazine-esque), but jesus people. Before dropping another shitty t-shirt on the masses, can you at least look around to see if it has already been done before? Thanks.
